| Resort description |
Founded in 1961 as a purpose built resort, Pra Loup is considered one of the best resorts in the Southern Alps. The winter sunshine in the resort is above the average of the other Alps resorts, with approximately 300 days of sun a year creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The resort boasts miles of skiing but without the crowds of other larger resorts. Pra Loup connects to Val d'Allos via thrilling ski runs and combined gives a larger ski area called Espace Lumiere. Please note during heavy snowfall the connection between the two resorts may close and that in winter the Col d'Allos driving route is closed.

| The Skiing |
The skiing domain Espace Lumière is one of the largest skiing areas in the Southern Alps, providing 170km of piste through a forest of larches. It is great for all types of skiing; downhill, cross country and snowboarding, providing enjoyment for experienced and occasional skiers who will delight in the opportunities Pra-Loup provides.
New for 09-10: The new Molanès Cable Car replaces the old chair lift and goes to the Clos du Serre at 1820m. You can then ski down to Pra Loup 1600 or use other lifts. |

| Après Ski |
| A rather quiet après ski, the resort offers nightclubs and a range of restaurants from traditional mountain fare to pizzas, crepes and burgers. |

| Amenities |
The resort offers a range of sports shops, some small supermarkets and a children's day-centre, along with other amenities such as bakeries, newsagents and pharmacies.
Most of shops are concentrated in an outside shopping arcade.
A free shuttle also regularly connects Pra-Loup 1500 and Pra-Loup 1600.

| As well as the vast ski area, visitors can enjoy a snow playground, tobogganing, snow shoeing, snow mobiling, ice skating and many other exciting winter activities. |
