Le Télémark is situated at the entrance of the resort in Le Lac area of Tignes and offers doorstep skiing(*). Access to the residence from the slopes requires a short walk uphill although there is a short cut. The reception staff can advise on the exact route to take to ski back to the residence.
The Chaudannes chairlift is closeby and operates from 9am onwards, this is something to keep in mind if you are thinking of taking ski school lessons in the morning. There is a free shuttle bus to the resort centre that operates approximately every 30 - 45 minutes, but if the times do not match your lesson time you will need to allow for the 10 minute walk to the centre and your meeting point.
Built for the winter 09/10 ski season by the acclaimed mountain architects MGM, this brand new residence is composed of three chalet-style buildings and offers 52 luxurious apartments with lifts. This accommodation benefits from a private indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam and fitness rooms. The Spa and Beauty Centre (payable locally) will be just what you need to relax and unwind after a challenging day on the slopes.
There is also a lounge area with open fire, wifi internet access, luggage and laundry rooms and ski lockers. The covered parking is a great advantage (payable locally: €15/car/day, max height 1.80m), as are the bakery delivery and catering order services (bookable & payable the day before).
The loan of board games, fondue and raclette sets, cots, high chairs, bottle warmers and socket covers is also available (subject to availability).
These stylish ski apartments are very tastefully decorated in a modern yet traditional fashion and offer a high standard of comfort. They have a fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic hob, multi-function oven, fridge, dishwasher, electric coffee maker, kettle and toaster. All apartments have a TV, telephone (calls payable) and a balcony.
