Le Tikal in Val Thorens is located at the highest point of this 3 Vallées resort, 500m from the village centre with its shops and leisure facilities and at the foot of the ski slopes - offering direct access from the residence*. The ESF ski school office is just 200m away. Within 600m you will find a 9000m2 fully refurbished sports centre offering tennis, football, volleyball, badminton, squash, table tennis, aqua-club, fitness & well-being relaxation centre with weights room, cardio-training room, fitness room, UVA, hydro-massage beds & Australian saunas and a heated fun park with trampolines and bouncy castles (payable, various passes are available). A free shuttle bus service operates around the resort from mid December.
Le Tikal has recently been entirely refurbished and offers 64 high-quality cosy and comfortable apartments.
Facilities at Le Tikla include heated ski lockers with boot-dryer and covered parking (payable, subject to availability, no LPG vehicles, max height 1.80m). Alternatively there is outdoor or covered parking located at the resort entrance (both payable).
Guests at Le Tikal also have access to the facilities at the nearby Les Temples du Soleil residence which include a children's play area, fitness area with sauna, steam room, Jacuzzis and weights room, luggage rooms (free or payable), laundry room (payable), 'La Grange' restaurant (various meal options available including half board), bar and mini-market.
All the apartments at Le Tikal are fitted and furnished to a very good standard. The interiors are modern and stylish with the use of solid wood and warm colours throughout. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with 4-ring ceramic hob, fridge, microwave/grill oven, dishwasher, electric coffee-maker & kettle, heated towel rail in the bathroom, telephone (calls payable), flat-screen TV (European and kid's channels), Wi-Fi access (payable), vacuum cleaner, all beds have duvets and a balcony or direct access outdoors.
Please note: for any apartments/chalets that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
