Le Hameau des Airelles in Les Menuires is situated at the entrance of the resort and at the start of the Bettaix chair-lift, offering ski-in/ski-out opportunities* to the main slopes. The resort centre with its shops and services is 1km away. A free resort shuttle bus stops next to the residence every 20 minutes.
This charming ski residence was built in 2005 and is composed of 8 four-storey chalets (with lifts), all constructed in traditional Savoyarde style architecture, using wood and stone. There are a total of 150 spacious and comfortable apartments, with lovely mountain views.
Facilities at Le Hameau des Airelles include free access to the indoor heated swimming pool (12m x 6m), fitness room, sauna and steam room (all open Sun-Fri 11:00-20:00), bakery and food shopping delivery services, new free Wi-Fi access area in the main reception, communal lounge open during reception hours, individual ski lockers on the ground floor of each chalet (1 per apartment), free outdoor parking, covered parking (payable) and laundry room (payable, free use of iron and ironing board).
There is a luggage room within the resort of Les Menuires (800m from the residence, payable).
TVs can be hired. The loan of baby kits (cot, highchair, bath and bouncer for babies under 2 years) is possible (subject to availability, request at time of booking). Board games can also be borrowed. Baby sitting can be arranged.
The apartments at Le Hameau des Airelles are fitted and furnished to a high standard. The interiors are cosy with traditional alpine décor throughout. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with ceramic hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, electric coffee-maker and toaster, telephone (calls payable), TV (payable, French and International channels), vacuum cleaner and a balcony or terrace.
Please note: for any apartments/chalets that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
*This indicates that you can ski to or from the residence. This is subject to normal snow conditions in the resort at that time and to the individual skier's ability. |
