La Turra in Valfrejus enjoys an ideal location being only 300m from the shops, ski schools and après-ski. It is also perfect for ski enthusiasts as it is right at the foot of the slopes offering ski in/ski out access(*), with a 60m descent to the nearest chairlift (Charmasson).
This large chalet was built for the 2004 winter season in typical mountain style with extensive use of wood and stone. The residence comprises 80 perfectly equipped high standard apartments within 4 linked chalets and offers a warm, friendly and family atmosphere.
Facilities at La Turra include free access to the outdoor heated swimming-pool with panoramic views over the surrounding mountains and sauna (both open everyday 17:00 - 20:00), fitness room (open all day, with brand new equipment for 2010), lifts, internet access (payable), a lounge with an open fire where you will be offered a welcome cocktail on the Saturday evening, a cosy bar with log fire, luggage room, ski lockers with heated boot rack, breakfast options (payable and served at the bar), bread delivery services (payable), free outdoor parking (limited spaces) or payable covered parking with direct access to the apartments. Cots, highchairs, raclette/fondue sets and bathrobes can be hired.
Within less than 100m you will find the Spa Darjeeling Club where numerous body, face, hand and foot treatments can be enjoyed (payable).
The spacious apartments at La Turra are fitted and furnished to a high standard of comfort and convenience, offering stylish alpine atmosphere and decor. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with 4-ring electric hob, fridge, dishwasher and oven, TV, telephone with direct line (calls payable) and most have a balcony or terrace (except for 3 apartments).
Please note: for any apartments/chalets that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
*This indicates that you can ski to or from the residence. This is subject to normal snow conditions in the resort at that time and to the individual skier's ability.
