Montana Planton in Tignes is built in traditional Savoyard style using wood and stone, on the slopes offering doorstep skiing (*). The residence is located next to the ski lifts in Tignes Le Lac and is just 200m from the resort centre. Composed of 1 building, Montana Planton houses just 6 apartments. The reception for this accommodation is at Le Granier building just 50m away.
Guests at Montana Planton can have access to the spa facilities (outdoor heated swimming pool, saunas, steam room & Jacuzzi. Payable, daily or weekly passes available) and the 4 restaurants & bars of the nearby Village Montana residence (payable). There is covered parking (payable) and daily cleaning &/or change of towels can be arranged (both payable). The loan of cots and highchairs is possible (subject to availability & on request).
The comfortable, spacious & luxurious apartments at Montana Planton are fitted and furnished to a high standard. They all have views of the ski slopes. They are very tastefully decorated with wood & neutral colours and some of the larger apartments have a cosy fireplace in the living area. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with oven, microwave, 4-ring ceramic hob, cooker hood, fridge, dishwasher, electric coffee maker, kettle & toaster, satellite TV, telephone with direct line (calls payable), safe, balcony & free Wi-Fi access. Each bath & shower room has a hairdryer and heated towel rail.
Please note: for any apartments/chalets that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
(*) This indicates that you can access to or from the slopes with ease (within 100m of the residence). This is subject to normal snow conditions in the resort at that time and to the individual skier's ability. The Montana Planton could be referred to as ski in/out. However due to the position of access from the ski lockers we refer to it as doorstep skiing.
