| Resort description |
Valmeinier has all the assets of a high altitude resort, so whether on holiday with friends or family, the 150km of slopes will please all.
Valmeinier 1500 is a traditional village at the bottom of the slopes and offers holiday makers spectacular views overlooking the neighbouring peaks.
Valmeinier 1800 is a little higher and more modern, but fits well in its stunning surroundings.

Ski School
The
ESF offers snowboard and skiing lessons.
They
offer group or private lessons for adults and
children from the age of 4 years.
The
ESF also has a children’s club for children
over 3 years old.
Unfortunately
Ski Collection cannot pre-book Ski School in
Valmeinier.

| The Skiing |
There are easy nursery slopes close to the resort and plenty of good wide open slopes for beginners, as well as a variety of pistes for the intermediate skiers to choose from.
Snowboarders will love the wide slopes in Valmeinier, there is also a snowpark with half pipe at the Crey du Quart and the wide-ranging terrain is great for free-riding. |

| Après Ski |
| Valmeinier 1800 has a lot to offer if you want to go out for a meal or relax in a bar after a hard day on the slopes. It has a selection of bars and restaurants including La Fondue and La Glisse. Or why not have a game at the bowling alley or see a film at the cinema... |

| Amenities |
| There is a wide selection of shops and services in Valmeinier 1800 including a baker, launderette, delicatessen, dentist, surgery, police station, hospital, ski school, bowling alley, supermarket and cinemas. There is also a range of clothes and sports shops to choose from. |

| Activities |
| You can choose from outings on snowshoes, paragliding, ice skating and dog sledding etc during the day. Or how about attending a torch-lit parade, games and tasting of regional produce at the end of a long afternoon. The evenings in Valmeinier also have a lot to offer in the way of café-theatre and cabaret, slide show, night-time skiing and the cinema. |
