This resort
has all the charm of a village resort and at the same
time offers all the benefits of a large skiing
domain: Diversity of runs, snowpark and cross-country ski
trails.

Snowboarding
in La Joue-du-loup
Snowboarders
will find all the facilities they are looking for.
The snowpark called the
“Mushroom’s park” is equipped with
a boardercross, woops,
big air, jumps … It is regularly livened up
with exhibitions, contests. .

Cross country skiing
The resort offers a huge area of Nordic ski in shape
of crescent. Indeed, 80km and 17 circles of
trails will enjoy the cross-country skiers. The
landscapes are astonishing and varied (forest,
clearings and large spaces). The Nordic ski area is
located on 4 plateaus: Festre, Arnouze, Boucherac and Rioupes. The Dévoluy Massif got the
“France Nordique”
label.

Ski school
The ESF in
La Joue-du-loup offers a
variety of lessons of
alpine
skiing, snowboard, cross-country skiing, mono-skiing
and telemark…
There are also English-speaking ski
instructors.
The
Piou
Piou club will welcome
youngsters (from 3 years old) who desire to get
familiarized with the skiing sensations.

| The Skiing |
| La Joue-du-loup is linked to the larger ski area of Superdevoluy by lift, creating vast skiing opportunities suitable for all levels, but particularly enjoyable for beginners and intermediates. For the more experienced skier, there are plenty of off piste runs available. Snowboarders are also well catered for, with a dedicated 'surfzone' snowpark. Cross country skiing consists of 80km of runs dispatched onto 17 circles through the beautiful and charming forest areas of the Southern Alps. |

| The après ski is quite lively, with a good selection of around 10 French and Savoyard restaurants. There is also 1 night club and a piano bar for those looking to carry on until the early hours. |

| The resort offers child care facilities and ski schools. There are 5 sports shops, along with other amenities such as grocery shops, pharmacies and banks. |

| Activities |
| Tobogganing, snow-mobiling, hiking and swimming are just a few of the other activities available for enjoyment in the resort of Joue-du-loup. Spend an afternoon out at the local cinema, or alternatively, for the more adventurous, why not try paragliding. |
