| Resort description |
Font Romeu is a small and lively family ski resort in the French Pyrenees just 19km from Perpignan. It enjoys plenty of sunshine during the year. With an altitude of 1800m you can enjoy cross-country skiing, downhill skiing or explore the local heritage sites.
Pyrénées 2000 is a typical mountain resort with fountains in the streets and a Middle-Age church, located in the heart of the Natural Regional Park of the eastern Catalan Pyrenees and close to Andorra and Spain, the resort height is 1800m.

ESF offers snowboard and skiing lessons.
They
offer group or private lessons for adults and
children.
The
ESF also has a children’s club for children
over 3 years old.

| The Skiing |
Skiing in Font Romeu is particularly good for intermediate and beginner skiiers. Many of the runs are fairly short and not too challenging. The resort has signed up to the Les Neiges Catalanes Pass, which grants access to skiing in neighbouring ski resorts Err Puigmal, Eyne, Formigueres, Les Angles and is lift-linked to Pyrenées 2000.
Pyrénées 2000 (1800-2213m) offers 58km of ski slopes, 111km of cross-country runs, 500 snow cannons, 1 sledge run, 2 free ski lifts for beginners, 1 boarder cross and 1 slalom. |

| Après Ski |
There is plenty to do after a day of skiing in Font Romeu. You will have the choice of ice-skating, going to the swimming pool, or how about enjoying some traditional French cuisine from one of the 22 restaurants in the resort and then relaxing in any of the 9 bars and then partying the night away in the nightclubs...
Pyrénées 2000 offers a cinema, casino, bowling and gaming room (pool, table football...), restaurants, bars and a weekly market (traditional local products...). |

Font Romeu has a full range of shops and services available in the resort centre, from the supermarket and the bank to bars, restaurants and shops. There is a sports centre and swimming pool. internet café, launderette, bakery, tabacconists, wine merchant, etc...

Pyrénées 2000 offers a wide range of varied activities for non-skiiers: snowshoe walks, snow quad/mountain biking, dogsled, airboard, snow ball, canyon descents paraglidng, numerous sports, fitness/cardio-training, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, reflexology and face and body care and many cultural visits can be enjoyed.
