Le Roc Blanc in Orcieres 1850 is perfectly located at the heart of the resort, 100m from the ski lifts and at the foot of the slopes - offering ski-in/ski-out possibilities*. All the shops and services are within just 50-100m. The sports centre with its exotic swimming pool, ice rink, relaxation area and bowling alley is within a 5 minute walk (300m) and various passes are available to purchase. The ESF ski school meeting point and kindergarten is 500m away and to make parents' lives easier, the ESF offers to accompany children aged 3-5 years to their ski lessons and bring them home again, free of charge!
Le Roc Blanc is a modern ten-storey building (served by two lifts), located in a sunny spot with an excellent view of the ski slopes and the surrounding mountains. All 117 apartments were entirely refurbished in 2007.
Facilities at Le Roc Blanc include free Wi-Fi access in the main reception area, communal lounge, restaurant with mountain views offering various meal options including half and full board, a bar, entertainment rooms, individual ski lockers in the basement with direct access to the ski slopes, luggage room, laundry room (payable) with free use of an iron and ironing board, free secure covered parking (300m from the residence) and outdoor parking in front of the residence (payable).
The loan of baby kits (cot, highchair, bath & bouncer) and board games is possible (subject to availability, baby kits to be requested at time of booking). Baby sitting can be arranged (payable).
Various kids clubs for children aged 3 months - 17 years (vaccination book required for children under 6 years), daytime activities such as snow-shoe excursions and evening entertainment such as karaoke, dancing, poker and quizzes are available (either throughout the whole season or during French school holidays only, some payable).
The apartments at Le Roc Blanc are fitted and furnished to a very good standard of comfort and convenience. The interiors are modern and stylish with alpine charm throughout. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with glass-ceramic hob, microwave oven, fridge, dishwasher, electric coffee-maker and toaster, flat-screen TV and vacuum cleaner.
Please note: for any apartments/chalets that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
