Unique to the Alps, Les Chalets du Hameau in Flaine are highly comfortable chalets in an unusual style. This charming hamlet is just 2km from the centre of Flaine and the bottom of the ski slopes (free shuttle bus departs every 15 minutes). Between the hours of 6pm and midnight a FREE minibus sevice can take you to Flaine Forum or Flaine Foret if you wish to go for drinks or dinner.
Alternatively doorstep skiing* is offered as you can take the green 'Aigue Marine' ski slope located opposite the chalets, at the top of the 'Les Gerats' chairlift.
Les Chalets du Hameau is composed of 70 colourful chalets built in a genuine Scandinavian style, Les Chalets du Hameau is all built in the 80's by a Norwegian property developer, they offer quality accommodation in a tranquil atmosphere. The pleasantly surprising Scandinavian style may bring to mind a Norwegian village, an Icelandic fisherman's cabin or maybe even a holiday cottage on the north-east coast of America!
The closest shops lie at the heart of the hamlet consisting of a grocery shop, restaurant and bar and a reception desk for all information.

Studio sleeping 4: Fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, TV, south-facing balcony and ski locker.
Chalet Sleeping 6: Fully equipped American-style kitchen area off of the living area with fridge-freezer, oven and dishwasher, TV, Scandinavian wood-burner, large south facing balcony and garage for 1 car.
Chalet sleeping 10: Fully equipped American-style kitchen area with fridge-freezer, oven and dishwasher, living area with flat-screen TV and Scandinavian wood-burner, Wi-Fi access, large south-facing balcony and garage for 1 car.
Chalet sleeping 8 with sauna:
Fully equipped American-style kitchen area with fridge-freezer, oven, ceramic hob, microwave & dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, living area with Scandinavian wood-burner, flat-screen TV & DVD player, sauna, large terrace and garage for 1 car.
Chalet Sleeping 12with sauna: Fully equipped American-style kitchen area with fridge-freezer, oven, ceramic hob, microwave and dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer, Living area with fireplace or Scandinavian wood-burner, flat-screen TV & DVD player, sauna with shower and large terrace. As each chalet is individual, certain of these chalets also have a garage for 1 car, satellite TV, pool table, Japanese grill, ski-boot dryer, ski locker and a cellar.
Please note: for any apartments/chalets that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
*This indicates that you can access to or from the slopes with ease (within a 5-15 minute walk depending on which chalet you are located in). This is subject to normal snow conditions in the resort at that time and to the individual skier's ability.
